St. Luke’s Wood River Foundation is honoring the legacy of Dr. Terry O’Connor with endowment fund to continue his work in our community. Dr. O’Connor was a beloved Emergency Room physician, mountaineer, humanitarian, and EMS leader who died May 10 in an avalanche.  

The purpose of the Terry O’Connor, MD Endowment Fund is to carry forward Dr. O’Connor’s legacy by funding health initiatives in the Wood River Valley. These health initiatives will align with Dr. O’Connor’s array of interests and compassionate work in our community. SLWR Foundation Board members Buddy Wilton and Barbara Boswell have partnered with a $100,000 commitment to start this endowment.
